Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
 ~ Philippians 3:13-14 ~

PURPOSE
The men’s ministry exists to uphold, encourage and challenge men in their daily walk as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Their mission is to fellowship and unite the men of the church to serve as positive role models – within the church and the community, especially for wayward youth; to encourage the men of God to hold fast to their integrity; and to equip them to go into the enemy’s camp and take back the men he has stolen from the church.

This ministry seeks to set up discipleship programs to include men’s bible study, prayer groups and other spiritual growth programs; to develop and implement workshops to assist men in becoming spiritually, economically and financially empowered leaders – first at home and then in the church; to build a strong bridge between the young and older men so as to become their mentors; to increase men in joining and working in other ministries within the church; to set up a BAND to challenge and promote the growth and development of their God-given gifts and talents; to teach the responsibility and role of men as husband and father in the home; to build good-will among men in the church that encourages the bonds of friendship, support for church service, and the creative exchange of ideas and information.
