Lady Petrina Hamlin (affectionately referred to as “First”) has been ordained and empowered to minister a word from the Lord to heal the women of God from past hurts and disappointments, low self-esteem and the other issues that have crippled them for so many years.
Lady Petrina Hamlin fully submitted her life to Christ at the age of 23. She has been serving in ministry diligently since that time; and has served faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Charles Hamlin, since April 2006 when he accepted his calling into the pastorate.
As a bondservant of Christ, she serves the Oil of Joy Ministries Christian Center family and the Kingdom of God relentlessly. Knowing that God called her to empower the women of God, Lady Hamlin established Women after Virtuous Excellence which is a ministry designed to raise a nation of God-fearing women who are determined to live a life of virtuous excellence. Through this ministry, she developed a newsletter designed to promote and encourage spiritual growth – The Virtuous Way. She also serves as co-coordinator along with her husband of the 2-n2-1 Marriage Ministry, is the director of the Ushers’ Ministry and is a member of the Anazao Praise and Worship Team.
Lady Petrina Hamlin is a woman of true character who exemplifies virtue, patience and strength. Her vibrant smile resembles the love she carries for the people of God and pours into the women of Oil of Joy Ministries Christian Center without reservation. It is her prayer and desire to see broken women realize their personal worth and obtain their God-given purpose.
Lady Hamlin is the founder and owner of Nevaeh House of Designs – a web and print design firm in Charles County, Maryland. Recognizing that marriage is indeed a ministry, she is honored to be the helpmeet of Pastor Charles Hamlin for over 11 years; together they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters – Dymond Ondeya and Yasmin Charnique.
